Ok the BIG day is here! I am finally going to post the "after" shots of the staircase! I know a couple of posts back I talked all about the beautiful rugs by Dash + Albert and then at the end told you that I didn't pick one of their rugs so you're probably wondering which rug I did pick. I loved the painted risers and treads and the use of the woven cotton rug from Dash & Albert made a lot of sense. The pile was not too thick to make it easy for stapling, the cotton would be hard wearing and most importantly, they came in a variety of colours and patterns. Here were a couple I thought very seriously about.
